How we handle personal information under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act.

Information We Collect
- Contact form submissions: name, email, company, message content
- Course enrolments: name, email, payment info (handled by Udemy, our course platform)
- Consulting clients: business contact details, project specifications, technical environment data
- Analytics: anonymised usage data via standard web analytics
How We Use It
- To respond to your enquiries
- To deliver contracted services

- To improve our services
Data Storage & Security
Contact form data is stored in our secure database. Course enrolments are handled by Udemy under their privacy policy. Consulting client data is stored in encrypted project repositories. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties except as required to deliver services (e.g. payment processors, email infrastructure).
AI Agent Data Handling
When we build AI agent systems for clients, we apply POPIA-compliant design patterns:
- Data minimisation: agents access only what they need
- Local-only deployment options via Ollama for sensitive workloads
- Audit trails for all agent decisions affecting personal data
- Human-in-the-loop checkpoints for high-risk actions
- Data retention policies configurable per engagement
Your Rights
Under POPIA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion
- Object to processing
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator
